Im Sofia Solari Palacios.
Born and raised in Patagonia, Argentina—not the lush mountains or glacial lakes you might picture, but a city in the middle of the desert, surrounded by wide horizons and a rugged kind of beauty.
From an early age, drawing became my way of expressing myself and making sense of the world, inspired by stories, animals, and the endless possibilities of imagination.
After finishing my Masters in Fine Arts at the National University of La Plata in 2022, I decided I was ready for the next step in my career. So I moved to the other side of the world—quite literally, Stockholm, with the aim to pursue my dream of becoming an animator.
While 2D and frame-by-frame animation is my main focus, I’m deeply passionate about concept art and character design and always open to exploring new techniques and ideas. My goal is to continue growing creatively and developing my skills across different areas of animation and visual storytelling.
Ultimately, I hope to create animations that leave a lasting impact—stories that foster connection and encourage reflection, evoking the same sense of wonder and emotion that animation has always given me.
