Kats in places

Kats in Places is an illustration series developed during my university studies, inspired by the many cats I saw throughout the city of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. I reimagined found images through vectorization and bold color exploration, populating them with Kats (a characterization of cats) in varied scales, forms, and settings. The project focuses on vibrant compositions, saturated palettes, and simplified forms, creating imaginative scenes connected by a recurring feline presence.

I also transformed the illustrations into stickers and shared them with people on the street, inviting them to place them around the city. This brought the project full circle, returning the cats to the same urban spaces that originally inspired the series.
